You can download a mIRC-Client here: www.mirc.com
Here are some commands for you:
Each IRC-Client has a "Perform". There, you can write all commands, which are to be implemented when connecting to a Server.
for example:
/mode $me +x (for people without a vhost) - if you uses this command, nobody can see your IP /ns identify password (your nick should be registered - you can do this with this command: /ns register password email) /join #tb2 /join #Channel1 /join #Channel2 etc.
Now, you can also open your own Channel. Join the Channel, you would like to own
/join #ABC
Then, you register the Channel:
/msg ChanServ register #ABC password (for channel, not your nickname-pw) Channel-description
example: /msg ChanServ register #ABC MyChannelPassword Channel for learning the alphabet
Now, you have to decide, if you want a Channel, which everyone can find or if you want a secret Channel. If you want to have a "open Channel", dont read the next sentence. If you want to have a secret Channel, double-click in the Chat-window and check the boxes for "secret".
If you want to give some other users a moderator-status, so decide between: HOP, AOP, SOP, CoOwner HOPs can give the users a voice and they can kick the users. AOPs are something like Moderators in Forum. They can kickbann users, HOPs and AOPs. They can change the title of a Channel, and a lot of more. They can give someone a AOP, too, but only temporary. But they can give a user a HOP status with a cs-command (cs = ChanServ). SOP are something like Super-Moderators, they have all functions like a AOP. They can also give a AOP status with the CS-command. CoOwner can do nearly everything.
You are the Owner.
If you want do give someone a VOP (user-status), so use this command: .addvop username (the username must be registered)
If you want do give someone a HOP, so use this command: .addhop username (the username must be registered)
If you want do give someone a AOP, so use this command: .addaop username (the username must be registered)
If you want do give someone a SOP, so use this command: .addsop username (the username must be registered)
If you want do give someone a CoOwner, so use this command: .addcoowner username (the username must be registered)
If you want to make your CoOwner to Owner (so you are only CoOwner) then use this command: /MSG CHANSERV SET #ABC OWNER nickname(of the new Owner)
If you want do change your Channel-Password use this command: /msg ChanServ SET #ABC PASSWD YourNewPassword
------------------------------
If you are connected on one Server, and you also want to visit another Server, than use this command: /server -m irc.serveradress.net
-m means: multi - so, that more than one server is open in your irc-client. irc.serveradress.net: you have to take your server, on which you like to connect
You also can use the command: /server -m irc.serveradress.net -j #Channel so you are in the Channel, where you want to be.
